My journey so far - I started my career as an Economics teacher with leading CBSE/ISC schools in India. Over the last 4 years, I have been associated with leading International schools in Frankfurt and teaching IBDP Economics and Business Management. Currently, I also hold the position of IB examiner for the subject of Business Management. I also provide detailed analysis & support for internal assessment and extended essays.
My goal – Enable each student to find confidence and success through the combination of academic work with a supportive framework; Encourage genuine interest and curiosity towards subjects through case studies driven approach, personal passion, methodical teaching gears, and competitive attitude.
My approach – Concept-based teaching with a well-equipped eLearning tools-driven pedagogy to monitor the progress of individual students and help students for overall academic development and achieve better scores. Each student is different. Hence, it is important to listen and understand their problems and provide constructive and timely feedback on assessments.
My teaching methodology – Make teaching simple. I follow a flipped classroom model where students are expected to read material and watch videos before attending the class, which makes classroom time more interactive and meaningful. The new teaching era has transitioned from teacher-centric classrooms to a student-centric approach, wherein students take ownership of their learning and go beyond textbooks to explore real-life situations, making learning interesting and easy. This is achieved through tools like Google Forms, Quizlet, podcasts, case studies, and educational videos.
